Description

Hey Eurvrayone! So, it's been a supar long time since I've been on DA, so busy with school and whatnot. I had this interesting, and hilariously odd dream on Saturday night. I dreamt that I had finally pitched my idea of what I wanted for certain to get a tattoo of if I ever were to do it. (My mom and I have had an agreement that I could after she'd died, only then would I ever be allowed to. Hah...) Anywho, she listened to it and agreed that it would, in-fact be a fine idea. I was so shocked by this, even after I woke up, that I told my mother the story. I managed to then slip in a bit of a pitch, sent her an image, and well, now I have it hah.

I decided not to tell her I got it right away. I want to sort of make it like a bandaid for her. She settles into letting me do this, and then when she's not looking I do it quick and painless so she doesn't have a chance to look back. Haha.

It's a simplified diagram of a serotonin molecule. For those unfamiliar, serotonin is a neurotransmitter that basically contributes to how happy you feel in (in partnership with dopamine) . I decided upon this because of how much I like to make people laugh. (thus causing you to release serotonin) I put it where I did because I will be able to see it when I'm writing. It's also my mic hand, so whenever I do stand up I can see it then too.

This is really amazing! I love love love the idea for the piece, it's very simply done & it looks just perfect! I'm envious =)
I like your little story about your ma as well, I think it's sweet that you respect her enough to see if she's okay with it, that's more courtesy then most children give their parents about anything in life! =P
