Should I? SHOULD I?!

So I've been thinking about getting my belly button pierced and it's the only kind of piercing (other than ears) that my mom doesn't seem too adverse to... I've already asked my friend if she wants to come with my and get some other kind of piercing fro herself (it's her birthday so I'd pay for it) So she's in, but I'm still not overly sure... I really want to, and I think it would look good, also motivate me to lose about 3 or 4 pounds off my belly to make it look really good.... What do y'all think?

If you don't scar easily go for it, but if you scar easily the piecing is going to get a knot of skin over the top of it that is massively ugly...I've seen it several times.

I scar averagely... So hopefully I'd be okay? Hahha... I've only got three ear piercings, and not even a cartiliage, so it would be the first "major" alteration I've done to myself. Aside from hair dying... But that doesn't count...

I got mine pierced when I was 13. It got infected and got really painful and grew out. Now I have scar tissue there (which I've actually pierced through a few times myself...don't get drunk and play with needles...LOL). Anyway, it wasn't a pleasant experience. It was certainly the most useless pain I've put myself through...and I have 5 ear piercings, a tongue ring and a tattoo on my spine. But it's your body. Do what feels right.
